Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved Supplemental Agreement No. 1 for professional services for The Underline Phase 3 – Segments 3 to 9. This agreement increases the contract value for construction, engineering, and inspection (CEI) services with Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. by $2,252,721.83, bringing the total contract value to $8,252,721.83. The contract term is extended by 270 non-compensable calendar days, for a total of 1,654 calendar days. The additional services are needed to support expanded scope and schedule adjustments, including enhanced quality assurance, increased inspection for new elements like Wi-Fi, and extended oversight due to schedule impacts. The project is a 7.36-mile multimodal corridor beneath the Metrorail system.
