CEI SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE UNDERLINE

Miami-Dade County Commissioners approved Supplemental Agreement No. 1 for Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) services for The Underline Phase 3 – Segments 3 to 9. This agreement increases the maximum contract value to $8,252,721.83 and extends the contract term to 1,654 non-compensable calendar days. The additional services are needed to support an expanded scope and extended schedule of the design-build contract, including enhanced quality assurance, increased inspection for added project elements like Wi-Fi, and extended oversight due to schedule impacts. The original CEI contract was approved on April 4, 2023, for a 7.36-mile multimodal corridor project. The supplemental agreement is funded by Mobility Impact Fees.
