CITY OF HOMESTEAD LICENSE AGREEMENT

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing a one-year license agreement with two additional one-year renewal options for the City of Homestead to use a parking lot at Harris Field Park. The Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department will operate a mobile spay/neuter unit on the premises for $1.00 per year. This initiative aims to reduce unwanted litters and shelter intake. Costs are absorbed within the department's existing budget. The City of Homestead previously approved this agreement. The agreement was recommended favorably by the Intergovernmental and Economic Impact Committee.
