Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a Development Lease Agreement (DLA) with CR Aviation Leasing, LLC for a 222,870 square foot parcel at Miami Executive Airport. The project involves the development of aviation hangar facilities and ancillary infrastructure, with a minimum investment of $4,000,000.00. The lease term is 30 years with a five-year renewal option. The County anticipates receiving an estimated $5,188,663.00 in rent and other revenue over the initial term. The project includes phased demolition of existing buildings and construction of a 40,000 SF hangar. CR Aviation will also establish an Apprenticeship Readiness Pipeline in collaboration with George T. Baker Aviation Technical College.
