FY 2025-26 SECOND QUARTER FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDING REPORT

This document is a report on federal and state funding for Miami-Dade County for the second quarter of FY 2025-26. Between January 1, 2020, and March 31, 2026, the County secured approximately $6.4 billion in federal funding and $732.4 million in state funding. During the second quarter of FY 2025-26, the County was awarded $3.2 million in federal awards and $8.2 million in state awards. As of March 31, 2026, the County has approximately $485.1 million in pending federal applications and $347.5 million in pending state applications. The report also addresses proposed revisions to 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance) which could impact future federal grant awards. The County is preparing comments for the July 13, 2026 public comment deadline to advocate for clear and administrable requirements. The report was submitted by the Mayor in response to a resolution sponsored by Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins.
