Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance is $79,437.60 annually, and for street lighting is $125,783.92 for the first year, followed by $29,042.16 annually thereafter. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, is responsible for the first year's street lighting costs. The district is located within Commission District 9. The creation of this district is a subdivision requirement.
