Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 325 Street (North), SW 194 Avenue (East), SW 328 Street (Lucy Street) (South), and SW 197 Avenue (Richard Road) (West). The project involves multipurpose maintenance of landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as the installation and maintenance of street lighting. The estimated initial costs for street lighting services are $125,783.92 for the first year and $29,042.16 for the second year. Multipurpose maintenance costs are estimated at $79,437.60 for the second year, with no cost in the first year as services are initially provided by the petitioner. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, is the sole property owner and requested the district. The street lighting services are expected to commence in November 2028.
