Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated costs for multipurpose maintenance are $79,437.60, and for street lighting are $125,783.92 for the first year, with subsequent years estimated at $29,042.16 for street lighting. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, requested the district, which is a subdivision requirement. Street lighting installation is contingent upon development and an agreement with Florida Power and Light. The district is expected to begin street lighting services in November 2028.
