Miami-Dade County Commissioners are considering the conveyance of four county-owned properties to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, Inc. and Elite Equity Development, Inc. for the development of affordable housing. The properties, identified by folio numbers, are to be declared surplus and conveyed for $10.00 each. The developers are required to build affordable housing for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households within two years of the conveyance. The agenda item was deferred from the July 21, 2026 meeting to September 1, 2026. The Housing Committee previously recommended it favorably.
