Miami-Dade County is seeking to increase expenditure authority for Prequalification Pool No. RTQ-02111, Petroleum Products, by $4,343,737.00, bringing the total modified cumulative pool amount to $17,454,937.00. This pool supports multiple County departments, including the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD), and Water and Sewer Department (WASD), for the purchase of essential petroleum products like motor oils, coolants, lubricants, and diesel exhaust fluid. The additional funds are needed to meet ongoing operational needs, fleet maintenance, and infrastructure support, especially considering increased usage and inflationary pressures.
