Miami-Dade County Commission is authorizing the County Mayor or designee to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care Program funds for homeless housing and services. This includes entering into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements and exercising related clauses. The resolution also waives a requirement for agreements to be finalized and executed by all non-County parties to expedite contract renewal. The Housing Committee forwarded the resolution to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation as corrected. The BCC is expected to take final action on July 21, 2026. The Homeless Trust Board approved the matters on July 26, 2024, September 26, 2024, and June 26, 2026.
