Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to amend Resolution No. R-38-26. This amendment will approve and authorize the County Mayor or designee to execute a Revised Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) and the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County (PAMDC). The MOA facilitates the sharing of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participant address and landlord information for property assessment and compliance purposes. Revisions clarify and expand the categories of documents and information HCD will provide to PAMDC, specify required documentation, timelines, and transmission formats. The hold harmless and indemnification section has been revised for clarity on responsibilities and liabilities. The Revised Agreement incorporates legal opinions from HUD's Office of General Counsel and relevant HUD directives. The item has a countywide impact and no fiscal impact.
