Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering ratification of Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. S-930B between Miami-Dade County and Daniel O'Connell's Sons, Inc. for the ST-2D-B South District Wastewater Treatment Plant (SDWWTP) Substations 5/6 and 15/16 project. This change order grants a 622-day non-compensable time extension due to delays in electrical equipment fabrication and delivery caused by supply chain issues, and required shutdowns for installing new voltage feeders. The project aims to increase the SDWWTP's average daily flow capacity and peak flow capacity. The change order extends the Substantial Completion Date from June 10, 2023, to February 21, 2025, and the Final Completion Date from July 22, 2023, to April 4, 2025. There is no additional fiscal impact. The original contract award was $21,805,340.00.
