Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering the FY 2025-26 State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Homebuyer Education and Counseling funding recommendations. The proposed resolution approves funding recommendations totaling up to $750,000.00 to four entities for homebuyer education and counseling services across the county. The Housing Committee forwarded this item to the Board with a favorable recommendation. Two applicants, Oasis of Hope Community Development Corporation, Inc. and Little Haiti Housing Association Inc. DBA Haitian American CDC, were not recommended for funding due to not meeting the minimum score threshold.
