Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved the conveyance of four county-owned properties to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, Inc. and Elite Equity Development, Inc. for $10.00 each. The purpose is to develop affordable housing for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households. The developers must complete construction and sales within two years of the County Deed recording, subject to a reverter clause. Several resolutions and implementing orders regarding notice, background information, and conveyance procedures were waived.
