Miami-Dade County is seeking to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care Program funds for homeless housing and services. This resolution authorizes the County Mayor or designee to receive and expend these funds, enter into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements, and exercise amendment, renewal, termination, cancellation, and modification clauses. It also waives Resolution No. R-130-06, which requires agreements to be finalized and executed by all non-County parties, to expedite contract renewal. The Housing Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation as corrected. A scrivener's error was noted and corrected in the resolution text. The Homeless Trust Board approved the matters on July 26, 2024, September 26, 2024, and June 26, 2026. The BCC agenda date is September 1, 2026.
