Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is authorizing the County Mayor or designee to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funds for homeless housing and services. This includes entering into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements and exercising modification, renewal, termination, and cancellation clauses. The BCC is waiving Resolution No. R-130-06 to expedite contract renewals. The funds are for Calendar Year 2026, and the County will reimburse non-profit providers and select municipalities for expenses. The Housing Committee forwarded the resolution to the BCC with a favorable recommendation as corrected, noting a scrivener's error in a previous resolution reference. The Homeless Trust Board approved the matters on July 26, 2024, September 26, 2024, and June 26, 2026.
