RENEWAL OF COC PROGRAM, HOMELESS TRUST

Miami-Dade County is seeking authorization to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care Program funds for homeless housing and services. This includes entering into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements and exercising modification clauses. The county is waiving a resolution requiring agreements to be finalized by all non-county parties to expedite the process. The funds are for Calendar Year 2026 and will reimburse non-profit providers and select municipalities. The Homeless Trust Board approved these renewals on July 26, 2024, September 26, 2024, and June 26, 2026. The matter is currently In Committee.
