Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a resolution to authorize the County Mayor or designee to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funds for homeless housing and services. The resolution also allows for entering into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements and exercising amendment, renewal, termination, cancellation, and modification clauses. A waiver of Resolution No. R-130-06, which requires agreements to be finalized and executed by all non-County parties, is included to expedite contract renewals. The Housing Committee forwarded the item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation as corrected, noting a scrivener's error in a previous resolution reference. The item was approved by the Homeless Trust Board on multiple dates in 2024 and 2026. The funds are for Calendar Year 2026.
