Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-316-26 on April 21, 2026, approving Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. S-984 with Ric-Man International, Inc. This change order increases the contract amount by $157,639.43 for the installation of water and wastewater services to commercial properties in the Green Tech Corridor, Basin S-2, Phase 1, located on the east side of NW 27th Avenue. The total contract value is now $7,403,920.18. The project involves installing approximately 5,710 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity pipe and 3,850 linear feet of water main. The increase is attributed to overruns related to asphalt pavement and restoration of pavement markings due to inadequate sub-grade conditions. Funds will be utilized from the Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond Program Project No. 17. The project originated from Resolution No. R-597-13 to extend sanitary sewer service to commercial and industrial parcels within the Green Tech Corridor. The contract was initially awarded on July 6, 2023, for $6,765,755.75. Change Order No. 1 previously granted a time extension and increased the contract amount by $480,525.00 for unsuitable soil conditions. The contractor is in compliance with Small Business Enterprise goals.
