Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is set to award Contract No. S-16113 for wastewater and water service to commercial properties in the Green Tech Corridor S-1 North. The contract, valued at $12,506,147.00, will be awarded to All Construction & Plumbing, Inc. for a period of 627 calendar days. The project involves extending sanitary sewer systems and replacing aging water mains along N.W. 27 Avenue from N.W. 96 Street to N.W. 106 Street. This initiative is part of the 'Connect to Protect' program, aiming to transition properties from septic systems to the county's sanitary sewer system, thereby enhancing property values, redevelopment potential, and supporting economic growth. Funding will come from the Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond (GOB) Program and other WASD funds.
