Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering accessing GovMVMT Contract No. 2025-0852, awarded to Rehrig Pacific Company, for waste carts, recycling carts, cart parts, and related products and services. The contract amount is $38,356,400.00 for the remaining initial term expiring December 22, 2030, plus five one-year option to renew terms. This contract supports the Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) in serving over 350,000 households in unincorporated Miami-Dade County and multiple municipalities. The contract was competitively solicited by the City of Houston, Texas. No local vendors or SBE firms were found to have the capacity for this procurement.
