Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is awarding Contract No. S-20298 for Venetian Causeway Water Main and Sewer Force Main Relocation to ITG Communications LLC. The project involves relocating existing water and sewer facilities to accommodate the replacement of Bridge No. 2 on the Venetian Causeway. The contract amount is $3,096,425.02, with a contract period of 231 calendar days. The work includes approximately 1,500 linear feet of HDPE water main and 2,100 linear feet of HDPE force main to be installed via horizontal direction drill under Biscayne Bay. The project is necessary due to the deterioration of the historic Venetian Causeway structures and to avoid impacts to the bridge replacement schedule.
