Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a Resolution (File Number: 260914) to approve and authorize the execution of a standard Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Miami-Dade County and requesting municipalities. This MOU is for the provision of debris removal, staging and reduction, long-range hauling, and monitoring services, primarily for hurricane recovery efforts. The Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) has existing competitively bid contracts for these services. The requesting municipality will compensate the County for services rendered.
