CITY OF HOMESTEAD LICENSE AGREEMENT

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve a license agreement with the City of Homestead for the use of a parking lot at Harris Field Park. The agreement allows Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department to operate a mobile spay/neuter unit. The license fee is $1.00 per year. The initiative is part of the County's community outreach efforts and is absorbed within the department's existing operating budget. The Intergovernmental and Economic Impact Committee forwarded the resolution to the Board of County Commissioners with a favorable recommendation. The City of Homestead has already adopted the agreement via Resolution No. R2026-05-98.
