Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved the award of Contract No. EVN0016781 for Disaster Debris Removal Monitoring Services to Tetra Tech, Inc. The contract is valued at $190,070,000.00 for an initial five-year term with one five-year option to renew. This contract will support multiple county departments in overseeing debris recovery contractors and assisting with public assistance applications to FEMA and the State of Florida. The scope of services includes field monitoring, truck certification, damage assessment, training, and emergency planning. The contract was awarded following a competitive Request for Proposals process initiated on November 10, 2025, with five proposals received by December 12, 2025. Tetra Tech, Inc. was the highest-ranked proposer. The contract is countywide in nature and will be funded by Federal Funds and Operating/Proprietary/General Funds depending on the department. The County makes no guarantees as to the volume of work or value of this contract to the awarded vendor, as work will be assigned on an as-needed basis. This contract replaces RFP-00172, approved via Resolution No. R-37-16.
