FIND WAP GRANT APPLICATION FOR MARINE VESSEL PURCHASE

Miami-Dade County is seeking to purchase a waterway maintenance vessel for its marine debris removal program in Biscayne Bay. The project has an estimated total cost of $90,000.00. The county is applying for a Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) Waterway Assistance Program grant of up to $45,000.00 and will provide a matching disbursement of up to $45,000.00 from the Biscayne Bay Environmental Enhancement Trust Fund. The vessel will be used by the Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM).
