Miami-Dade County is authorizing the funding of 22 grants totaling $139,366.00 from the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Community Grants Program – Fourth Quarter. The grants are for various entities to support events and activities in July, August, and September. The program supports nonprofit cultural organizations presenting programs, projects, and events with community involvement. The Recreation, Tourism, and Resiliency Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation on July 14, 2026. The BCC is scheduled to consider this on September 1, 2026. Resolution No. R-130-06 is being waived to expedite funding. The Department of Cultural Affairs will monitor the grant agreements.
