AGREEMENT WITH DHS - TRAIL GLADES

Miami-Dade County is seeking to ratify an agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the use of Trail Glades Range facilities for training purposes. The agreement is for a one-year term with an estimated payment of $216,320.00. The Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will oversee compliance. CBP has utilized the range since 2010. The resolution authorizes the County Mayor or designee to execute the agreement and future similar agreements, provided they do not have a negative fiscal impact on the County. The Recreation, Tourism, and Resiliency Committee is reviewing the matter.
