Miami-Dade County is acting as fiscal agent for the South Florida Cultural Consortium to approve 19 grant award agreements totaling $285,000.00 for the FY 2025-2026 Visual and Media Artists Grant Program. Of this total, $165,000.00 is allocated on behalf of Miami-Dade County. The grants are awarded to individual artists across five South Florida counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Monroe, and Palm Beach. The process involved review by regional and national arts experts. The Board of County Commissioners is being asked to waive Resolution No. R-130-06 to expedite the funding process for these time-sensitive awards.
