Miami-Dade County is acting as fiscal agent for the South Florida Cultural Consortium to approve 19 grant award agreements totaling $285,000.00 for the FY 2025-2026 Visual and Media Artists Grant Program. Of this total, $165,000.00 is allocated on behalf of Miami-Dade County. The grants are awarded to South Florida artists from Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. The Board of County Commissioners is being asked to approve these agreements and waive Resolution No. R-130-06 to expedite funding. The selection process involved regional and national panels reviewing 339 applications.
