This document is an ordinance amending Chapter 14 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida, relating to fire prevention and life safety. The Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue Department was the requester. The ordinance was adopted on first reading by the Board of County Commissioners on April 21, 2026, and was scheduled for a public hearing before the Safety and Health Committee on June 8, 2026, where it was ultimately withdrawn.
