OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FDOT FOR SR 860MIAMI GARDENS DRIVE

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for local roadway improvements. The project involves reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, detectable warning mats, and replacement of push buttons on SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive at NW 37th Avenue and from NW 6th Avenue to west of NE 10th Avenue. A portion of the work will also occur on NW 37th Avenue and NW 181st Street. The project is estimated to cost $176,000.61, funded and built by FDOT, with an anticipated construction start date of April 2027. Miami-Dade County will continue its existing maintenance efforts post-completion.
