CEI SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE UNDERLINE

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to a professional services agreement with Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. for Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) services for The Underline Phase 3 – Segments 3 to 9. This supplemental agreement increases the maximum contract value by $2,252,721.83 to a total of $8,252,721.83 and extends the contract term by 270 non-compensable calendar days to a total of 1,654 calendar days. The increase is to ensure continuous and adequate construction oversight due to an expanded scope and extended schedule, including enhanced quality assurance, increased inspection and coordination for added project elements like Wi-Fi and amenities, and extended oversight due to schedule impacts. The original CEI contract was approved on April 4, 2023, for a 7.36-mile multimodal corridor project.
