ILA FOR PROVISION OF ON-DEMAND SERVICES WITH DORAL

Miami-Dade County and the City of Doral are entering into an Interlocal Agreement for on-demand transportation services. The agreement, effective retroactively to December 23, 2025, will utilize the City of Doral's municipal share of Charter County Transportation System Surtax proceeds for operation and maintenance. The service, which began in April 2024 and is operated by Freebee using four Tesla Model X vehicles, provides stop-to-stop on-demand transit connecting residents to key destinations within and around Doral for trips up to five miles. The Board of County Commissioners is set to approve this agreement, which has a five-year term with two five-year renewal options. There is no fiscal impact to Miami-Dade County.
