Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering an Interlocal Agreement with the City of North Miami for on-demand transportation services. The agreement, which has a five-year term with two five-year renewal options, is funded by the City of North Miami using its share of Charter County Transportation Surtax proceeds, resulting in no cost to Miami-Dade County. The service aims to enhance local mobility, complement existing bus routes, and increase public transit usage.
