Miami-Dade County is approving an Interlocal Agreement with the Village of Key Biscayne for the regulation of micromobility devices, electric bicycles, and motorized scooters on county roads within the Village. The agreement authorizes the Village to enforce county regulations and potentially adopt additional restrictions. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation. The BCC is scheduled to consider the resolution on September 1, 2026.
