Miami-Dade County is approving an Interlocal Agreement with the Village of Key Biscayne for the regulation of micromobility devices, electric bicycles, and motorized scooters on county roads within the Village. The agreement allows the Village to enforce county ordinances related to these devices and potentially adopt additional restrictions. The Board of County Commissioners is authorizing the County Mayor or designee to execute the agreement. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item with a favorable recommendation.
