Miami-Dade County is considering an Interlocal Agreement with the Village of Key Biscayne to regulate micromobility devices, electric bicycles, and motorized scooters on county roads within the Village. The agreement, if approved, would allow the Village to enforce county regulations regarding these devices. The matter is currently in committee. Public interest in micromobility devices for transportation and environmental goals is noted.
