OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for local roadway improvements along SR 934/NW 74th Street Connector from west of NW 77th Court to east of Red Road. The project, with an estimated cost of $5,900,000 funded by FDOT, includes reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, milling and resurfacing, widening, striping, traffic separators, loops, and signage. The anticipated construction start date is March 2027. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item to the Board with a favorable recommendation on July 14, 2026. The Board of County Commissioners is scheduled to review this on September 1, 2026.
