OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County is approving an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for local roadway improvements along SR 934/NW 74th Street Connector from west of NW 77th Court to east of Red Road. The project includes work on NW 74th Street Connector and NW 72nd Avenue. Specific improvements include reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, curb and gutter, milling and resurfacing, widening, striping, traffic separators, loops, and signage. The project is estimated to cost $5,900,000 and will be funded and built by FDOT, with an anticipated construction start date of March 2027. Miami-Dade County will be responsible for maintenance operations upon project completion.
