OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for roadway improvements on SR 934/NW 74th Street Connector from west of NW 77th Court to east of Red Road. The project includes work on NW 74th Street Connector and NW 72nd Avenue. Specific improvements include reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, curb and gutter, milling and resurfacing, widening, striping, traffic separators, loops, and signage. The project is estimated to cost $5,900,000 and will be funded and built by FDOT. The anticipated construction start date is March 2027. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item to the Board with a favorable recommendation.
