OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is set to approve an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for local roadway improvements along SR 934/NW 74th Street Connector from west of NW 77th Court to east of Red Road. The project, with an estimated cost of $5,900,000, will be funded and built by FDOT, with an anticipated construction start date of March 2027. Improvements include reconstruction of sidewalks, curb ramps, milling and resurfacing, widening, striping, traffic separators, and signage. The County will be responsible for maintenance operations upon project completion. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation.
