The Board of County Commissioners met to discuss several upcoming projects and proposals. Several new commercial and mixed-use developments are planned for areas near State Road 46 and County Road 415, State Road 46 and County Road 427, State Road 417 and Red Bug Road, and State Road 434 and Red Bug Road. These projects could create opportunities for land clearing and grading crews, civil engineers, surveyors, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, framers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, landscapers, and building material suppliers. Additionally, a new development with single-family homes is planned near State Road 46 and County Road 415, and an apartment complex is proposed near State Road 417 and Red Bug Lake Road, which may also offer work for similar trades.
