The Board of County Commissioners in Charlotte County met to discuss upcoming projects and reviews. Several potential business opportunities were identified. These include a commercial development near US 41 and Harbor View Road, a 12.5-acre commercial project at Tamiami Trail and County Road 775, and a church building at 123 Main Street. Other opportunities involve a 150-home residential development and a 10-acre commercial development near State Road 776 and County Road 771, as well as a 10-acre water treatment plant project in the same area. Sidewalks along Rampart Boulevard and various turning lane improvements are also planned.
