The City of Apopka is reviewing new development requirements that could impact future projects. Any new development expected to create over 400 average daily car trips, or deemed by the Director to significantly affect city roads, will need to submit a transportation impact analysis. This analysis must accompany a development plan or plat submission, whichever is filed first. This item is currently under review by the Apopka Planning Commission. If approved, this could lead to requirements for site clearing, grading, utility work, paving, and final landscaping for new developments.
