The City of Clermont is reviewing a General Service Agreement for Instrumentation and Controls, identified as RFSQ-2024-104. This agreement will cover emergent, emergency, or time-critical work for energy supply, energy delivery, water, and wastewater systems. The scope includes furnishing and installing new instrumentation and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), programming PLCs, HMIs, and OITs, in-plant SCADA networking, demolition and disposal of existing equipment, and troubleshooting and repair of control systems. Work may also involve supplying control panels, fabricating electrical and instrumentation panels, and documenting electrical wiring. This item is currently under review by the City Council. The project will involve site preparation, installation of control systems, electrical work, and potentially demolition and disposal. Contractors specializing in instrumentation, controls, electrical systems, and utility infrastructure, as well as suppliers of control panels and related equipment, could find opportunities. Engaging early before final bids and permits are set may offer a competitive advantage.
