This item concerns a proposed structure that has not yet been designed to resist flooding. The owner, architect, contractor, site developer, and building official are responsible for setting the correct building elevation. The structure must be built at an elevation no lower than what FEMA and local authorities require. It also cannot be built in a V flood zone unless the design specifically shows it can resist those effects. This is currently under review.
