The project is funded by Federal Transit Administration grants. The City Commission also approved the Invitation to Bid award recommendation to Tolar Manufacturing Company, Inc. for Bus Stop Shelters and Amenities. This project is funded by Federal Transit Administration funds. The City Commission approved rankings for RFP #PWDA-260019-SM for Transportation CEI Services and authorized contract negotiations with NV5, Inc. and GAI Consultants. The City Commission approved rankings for RFP #PWDA-260015-SM for Transportation Professional Services and authorized contract negotiations with Kimley-Horn and Associates and Choice Engineering. The City Commission accepted a grant award from the State of Florida Department of Management Services for the Local Government Cybersecurity Grant Program and approved the grant agreement. The City Commission approved Business Improvement Grant funding for the Matheson House and the Seagle Building. The City Commission will hear a presentation from the Transportation Department. The City Commission adopted a resolution approving the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program Local Housing Assistance Plan for State Fiscal Years 2026-2027, 2027-2028, and 2028-2029. The City Commission will review the Towing or Immobilizing Vehicles on Private Property Ordinance Chapter 14.5 and provide direction for potential amendments. The City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the Regional Transit System FY2026 Program of Projects and adopt a Resolution authorizing grant applications. The City Commission adopted a resolution supporting the Regional Transit System application for a Florida Department of Transportation 49 U.S. Code Chapter 53, Section 5311 Grants for Rural Areas Off Cycle Capital Assistance. The City Commission adopted ordinance 2025-997 for a Quasi-Judicial 800 Block East University Avenue Rezoning. The City Commission adopted ordinance 2025-873 for Dogwood Acquisitions Voluntary Annexation. The City Commission adopted ordinance 2025-993 for UF Health South Campus Rezoning. The City Commission adopted ordinance 2025-995 for Chestnut Northeast 8th Avenue Rezoning. The City Commission authorized the City Manager or designee to enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price Agreement Early Release Package with Ajax Building Company, LLC for sitework construction of Fire Station 3.
