The City of Hollywood Commission met to review various agenda items. Several potential local business opportunities were discussed, including a new community center near Johnson Street and 17th Avenue, and a new police facility at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard. Other projects under review include a 100-unit housing development at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, a mixed-use development with 200 apartment units near Stirling Road and North 28th Avenue, and a 50,000 square foot commercial building at 123 Main Street. Additionally, plans for a new water treatment plant at 1500 East Hallandale Beach Boulevard and a new park at 1000 Johnson Street were discussed.
